3.0 mercuiser 4cylinder starter solenoid issues

The 4 cylnder is on a 1990 glastron i/o. The solenoid is bad on my starter. Is there a special trick to get these grounded solenoids off the starter so you can replace them? I have all the visible small housing bolts removed. The only exception is the one that has a fiitng that appears to go back into the starter housing. This seems to be the only thing holding the solenoid on at this time. It wiggles and jiggles but it does not come looose.

DB Electrical they are on ebay also, No one rebuilds starters anymore.

You remove the bolt holding the strap from the starter motor to the bottom lug,there are 2 bolts holding the solenoid in place, twist it ,either direction about an inch and it pops out,
