I feel sort of dumb asking this, but can someone decipher the above instructions from the V/P User's guide for my boat for me as it applies to my situation? After a reversal in the prop rotation to match a new prop I bought, my boat pulls badly to the port (left) side. Should the rear of the trim tab be on the left or right of center when viewing it from behind? After I installed the new prop, I reversed the way it was angled, and by how much, with the old prop so I was surprised when it pulled so badly.

Thanks!

"Bpb, if the boat pulls towars the left, then adjust the trailing edge (rear) of the tab towards the left until the boat stops pulling; and if the boat pulls towards the right, then adjust it towards the right until it stops pulling.

Simple, isn't it?

Remember that the adjustment you make is for the speed at which you normally go. Going at higer or lower speed will make the steering to pull somewhat towards either side."

"OK, so if I understand this c

"OK, so if I understand this correctly, the rear of the trim tab should be left of center (looking at it from the rear) if the boat pulls to the left, correct?

On a related note, how much propulsion (if any) is provided by what comes out of the exhaust outlet?"
