Where do I find a new trim mot

Where do I find a new trim motor for a 270 outdrive? The one we have now appears to be frozen. Thanks

Fixed frozen trim motor but no

Fixed frozen trim motor but not have another problem. The last owner modified the trim wiring and cut out the relay section. He also modified the trim switch. Does anyone have a schematic of the trim wiring? Thanks

"The Clymer and Seloc manuals have them I believe. He probably did it for a reason. I recently bypassed my limit switch because of a mechanical problem in the shaft. It still goes up and down, now the light stays on all of the time which is no big deal to me.

It just seems to me that if he did that, it was probably for a reason. If the drive goes up and down and latches properly, I personally would not mess with it. The only benefit I lost was the lift stopping on it's own. "
