260 MPI oil leak

I have a major oil leak in my 2004 mercruiser MPI 260 (180 hrs). I have owned the boat since new. Lots of oil in the bilge. I have no idea where it is coming from. Engine (block) is dry. There is no water in the oil. It looks new. any ideas???

Check your oil senders on the port side of the engine by the oil filter.

It's engine oil

I checked that. It's dry.

clean the bilge, put cardboard under the engine and test run.
pan is doubtful, remote oil drain hose on bottom of pan,leaking drain plug, cracked dip stick, double gasket/ gasket failure on the oil filter, cracked oil filter, timing chain cover.
