Could you some help please. I have a 25HP 4 stroke (F25ELHY) date of manufacture 10/99 with about 10 running hours.
PROBLEM: It will barely idle and won't rev up. It sounded like it was running on one cylinder and indeed it was. I replaced the bottom plug and it seemed to run a little better, but it barely fires.
Is there a coil test I can do with an ohm meter?
Are there other ignition tests I should try first or as well?
she is a sweet runner when they all are firing.
