25 Merc Won't run

Hi, I have a 25 Merc that starts, but won't stay running unless I play with
the choke, even after it warms up enough for the water to piss out,
it just won't stay running. I had issues with an air leak last year,
and after repairing, it ran perfect, just in time to store it for winter,
now in the spring its a no go.

Any ideas out there on what to check?

As for what I did, I've checked for fuel line leaks,
filter etc.

I stored it with fuel stabilizer run through the system,
I've never had an issue like this before.

I'm thinking it may be a dirty carb, but haven't had time
to investigate further.

The low speed jet is probably plugged up. Even with gas stabilizer the little jets will plub up sometimes. Unscrew and remove the air jet and clean with contact cleaner and compressed air. If this does not help then pull the carb and remove the bowl. Check for debris in bottom of the bowl and make sure that all the jets are clear. Scars!
