Hi, I have a problem with my motor 25 HP 1988 model when I run the motor with the cover on it sputters and runs like it running out of gas so I came home with it off and it ran fine also I notice the primer collapse? Any advice?

If primer bulb collapses you have a venting problem on your tank.----Or fuel hose / fittings from bulb to the tank and inside the tank have a restriction.

Thank you Racerone, I will check it out tomorrow any answers on the motor cover why it runs better without it on?
