Yes.... that is correct... 225 is HP, and this would be the 5.0L GM SBC!

The "D" is a model designation.
When searching the Volvo Penta site, enter AQ 225 D, and it will get you where you want to be, as long as no one has previously changed things.
And things do get changed by previous owners all the time!
Not a huge ordeal witht the great interchangeabililty with these AQ series drive systems.

If this were an AQ 200B, things would be somewhat different...... but with still quite a bit of interchangeability.
