225D wont suck or circulate water

"i have read all the posts on

"i have read all the posts on this subject and have found non to be of help. i have a 1986 225d engine and a 275 outdrive. i have tried muffs and a barrel of water and have no success. there seems to be no water being picked up by the system and no leaks anywhere in or out of the boat. impeller is in good condition, hoses are all normal, etc. any help would be appreciated.

"What about the hose connector

"What about the hose connector in the outdrive? If corroded/perforated, the pump will suck air instead of water."
