My 2000 225 OX66 is bogging un

My 2000 225 OX66 is bogging under load It will not get on plan. I have changed the fuel water separator and engine mount fuel filter. Still no change. I will try some injector cleaner next. But I`m not sure what the problem may be

I did not mention before about the gas but I just read some less then good news. The above problem started after i added gas from pumps labeled with less then 10 percent ethenol. I now see my gas as a cloudy mess. I have read that you should not mix non ethonol gas with 10 percent or e-10. is this also true.

"It should run OK even if it is cloudy. You need to keep an eye on filters until all that stuff is run out.

But, what I wanted to say is, have you ever changed your fuel pumps? Mine were bad when I had that same problem, and they are cheap."

"Get a clymer manual for your engine. The book has detailed steps on servicing your engine. If you have done nothing to your engine since year 2000 I'd change plugs (but give them a good looking over)and buy 3 new fuel pumps and just check filter in vst it may only need cleaning. The oxygen sensor may be all liquid carbonized up and need cleaning and be careful of that little barbell with a hole ,it sniffs the oxygen content in the cylinder and must be clean. This sensor sits up high ,port side,front of engine. Look at it as a 1v battery that fluxuates from .3 to .7 if working right. And definately do a decarb as your engine may need it. Seafoam is great."

"While doing the plugs ,do a compression test on cylinders ,put the new plugs in after de-carb. Your problem could be a fuel starvation,due to sucking air. You may have to run engine with fuel gauge on schrader valve (on top of vst)35psi steady."

"Thanks Bernard. just to bring you up to date. I have the clymer manual. i got this engine about a year ago. i did a compression check then and it was good, even across all cylinders. Changed the plug then and all ran fine. I did order the new fuel pumps yesterday and they should be in today along with a new vst filter. What would be best to use to clean the O2 sensor, carb cleaner?
