225 mariner alarm

oil? alarm beeping 4 times intermittantly with no obvious problems with system. reservoir full in engine.

"Are you sure its an oil alarm,chek the sender at the fuel filter,not doubting you!I got one for you,225 optimax,starts,no alarm,runs no alarm,go up to 3000 and it blows an alarm,shut it down and restart,no alarm,run it back up and it blows again,I'm changing stats to cool it down(runs hot)and also to increase water flow,oil is full ,but........any thoughts??"
