"hello all, have a 2002 225, 360 hrs yesterday when I started up after sitting for 3-4 weeks the engine gave a couple of definate squeeks from the lower unit area. then after about one hour run time and stopping and resting, at restart, again a distinctive sqeeking. Then we got into an unknown river and promptly schoaled it pretty good. (no or little drinking involved). got off (the schoals)and then the same engine area produced a goose honk sound- twice. havn't had the same sound since but, those pictures of the lower bearing malfunction where it wore through the casing a few weeks back has me worried. Anyone got sage advice?"
