I need to know the year of my

I need to know the year of my 20 hp outboard and so extra help would be great
for 1 the only number i can find anywhere on the motor itself is 848-6305 i cant find any plates in places that i have been told to look so im hoping this helps
also if the year can be found i need to know the best place to get a manul for it as right now i have to take the leg off to reseal it and the thing is stuck in forward and i cant get the shifter to move

we need to see a pick of yours to narrow it down, the color of the cowl and the pattern helps. Does your engine say 20 or 200. Your number listed doesn't help. Here you can look at the engine by year and narrow it down by the parts or different parts http://www.crowleymarine.com/parts.cfm"

its black with blue trim on th

its black with blue trim on the motor wrap. it also has thunder bolt ignition on the front cover and it says 200 on the side...i will try and get some pics in a day or two
