2022 Mercury 200Hp Water Pump

Just purchased a boat with a 200 hp mercury with 50 hours on it. It’s a 2022 model. I hooked up water hose to run it for the first time before I take it out and the engine is seeming to overheat and no water coming out the pee hole. I have cleaned a little dirt and debris out of the P hole and a small trickle came out With brown water and then stopped. Any advice on what I should do next? Thanks for your help.
