i have this mercury engine and i purchased in feb of this year. i performed the break-in per the manual and have had it on the lake a half dozen times and now i am getting an alarm when i go from throttled up to idle. if i throttle up again during beep it goes away and then comes back once i go back to idle. i have good water pressure, so not overheating, oil level is where its supposed to be, and i have checked fuel filter bowl for water and good there. engine starts and runs fine. is there possibly something that may have come disconnected or anything simple i can check. i dont want to take to dealer and have to leave it for god knows how long if it might be something simple. thanks for any and all replies
