This motor refuses to start. I have already: cleaned the carb with ultrasonic cleaner, emptied the gas tank and refilled with non ethanol gas. I have checked spark which I do have. I have checked to make sure gas is getting to the carb bowl which it is. I have take the valve cover off and rods and valves look visually okay. My compression is very low in the 40 - 60psi range. I have looked this up and according to what I read that this motor has a decompression system for easier pull start. I then squirted gas from a syringe into the carb directly and pulled with no cough pop short start or fart. I think it’s either a timing issue where the spark is sparking at the wrong time or the decompression system is not a real thing and this motor just has to low of compression to start the engine.
