2019 DF140A Throttle Issues

I have a 2019 Suzuki DF140For the past few months my full throttle RPMs have been dropping. With my current setup I used to be able to hit 6200rpm no problem, currently I can only get it up to 5200. It seems like acceleration is also hurting with longer time to plane. Boat is dry stored and I don't think water intrusion is an issue. One thing I noticed today was the throttle does not open the butterflys when full throttle on the binnacle at the console. When I pull the throttle cable off I can push the linkage open pretty easily, it seems like the cable just doesn't have enough throw.

Could my cable have stretched out? I haven't had this happen before but that seems like it could be the only logical option. I haven't opened up the binnacle controls yet but there may be something wrong in there too.

I'm having trouble uploading the photos of the butterfly but when I push the linkage the butterfly is at 90 deg. vs when I push the throttle lever at the binnacle ~50 deg. max.

Let me know if anyone has seen similar problems.

The bracket at the motor is all in the right place. Any idea of what to look for in the binnacle? i've taken apart a few yamaha side mount ones but never a top mount suzuki.

Only thought is if something is loose
I'm going on your comment of the full wide open. It could be the small amount of it not opening might not mean anything.

would have me start looking at a fuel issue.

Clogging fuel filter, weak fuel pump (low pressure), restriction in the fuel supply

Attached are screenshots from a 2009 DF90A setup manual. It’s not your engine but it MIGHT be similar to your setup to give you an idea of whats supposed to be happening on the engine side. I wouldn’t think your cable has stretched on a 5 year old engine to the point where the throttle is only opening a little better than half way.
