2015 carbed 4.3 merc, 2 barrel -- bogging

Was out yesterday with family and friends just cruising around. Near the end of the day I throttled it up to head home and the boat completely bogged down. Zero power until I brought the throttle back then it ran and idled fine. Tried this a couple times with same results. Boat ran fine all day otherwise.

Of course this scared the wife being out in the middle of a lake.

Approximately 10hrs on engine.

Definitely a fuel problem. Has 3/4 of a tank with premium fuel purchased about 5hrs before. Boat ran top notch all day until I throttled it up.

its at the dealer now. see what they say
 
No water or crud in the fuel. Dealer couldn't replicate the problem even taking it back to the lake and testing it. He thinks it could have been vapour lock. I don't think so though.

Only thing he found was idle was to high. He adjusted that.

Ill take it out next week and see what happens.

Zero money given. Lol.
