I have been having an intermittent issue with my coolant temp. After running normally at 4k+ and I come to a stop, after idling for a short period the coolant light comes on, and either the engine stalls (usually at an inopportune time like approaching a dock) I always check the tell-tale and it's always a good stream. I feel the temp and it's normally warm. If it keeps running, it goes into limp-home mode. When I shut it off and wait about 30 sec, it starts and runs fine at all throttle ranges. Would an intermittent coolant temp sensor be the cause?
