2011 vs 2016 Yamaha 50hp

Looking at 2 motors, both about the same price can someone tell me the differences between the two? Is one more ap to have issues? I know sometimes newer is not better. Any advice would be appreciated.

Sorry but I don't have that info. Below are pictures of both, 2006 then 2016. I was told some of the earlier models had corrosion issues, can someone tell me what years that may cover?
