2011 Mercury Verado stalling when slowing down?

There were also a series of beeps when approaching the dock, and the engine stalled. Any idea what might have caused this. It was the 1st time out in over a week, and we did have quite a lot of rain. It seemed to run fine at a higher speed. Thanks

i called the marina to see - as I could not locate anything to drain or dump - they said this is a common issue especially this year with all the rain. also with the amount of ethal in the gas - recommended a product called starbright. which is supposed to seperate the ethol and / water in the gas. bought it added it to the half tank of gas, went out for the day - skiing and tubing all was good then a night cruise, where we were out for about 20 minutes as we slowed down the engine stalled and would not go properly from this point, and we had to get back to the cottage slowly. very very slow.... so now i am very confused as the additive did not seem to work and the 2 year old engine is running like crap. i will be calling mercury to see what is going on. thanks for the help, just thought i would share.
