2010 F40LA free piston sub assembly removal

I am trying to replace seals/orings in my tilt unit-I see an oring called for on the free piston sub assembly but I can't figure out how to get that assembly out of the main housing-I have the tilt piston sub assembly out with no problems but these appear to be separate units. Thanks for any input! Tim

What is your service manual telling you to do?

Did not have a service manual but problem is resolved. Saw a utube video where someone used a battery to connect the trim unit and operate the up function-worked great and pushed the free piston sub assembly right out. Thanks for the post!
