2010 90 hp fuel pump question

New in 2010 90hp 3 cyl carbied twostroke......started to run a bit rough....done all the usual checks...question.....is the fuel pump supposed to squirt a fine stream into the crankcase of the bottom cylinder when i squeeze the priming bulb? Is this a designed enriching system to aid starting, or have i found the problem? Cannot find any mention of it in owners or service manual.....if it is a design system , how does it shut off once the engine is running? Thanks ........

Sounds like the problem.--------------An enricher system is operated electrically.-----Seperate from the fuel pump.

A 2010 is in warranty. What does your dealer say? If squeezing the primer squirts fuel through the carb, the needle for that carb is probably not seating, BTW.
