PLEASE HELP. I have a 2010 Z8 with 200 Pro xs with 186 hours on it. It will only run at 4900 rpm. It has always ran at 5600-5700 rpm. It has been in 3 different shops. Computer says everything is fine. The only fault on the print out is over rev X 6. Here is what has been done or tried. Theromostats checked, new plugs, new filters, gas ran out and replaced with non ethanol gas, reeds checked and 3 replaced, compression checked and is good. The first time on the lake after changing plugs it ran at 5600rmp. The next day it would not. A few times while running down the lake it has kicked in and ran right for a minute or so and then back down to 4900rpm, but it hasn't even done that recently. There doesn't seem to be a miss or anything that doesn't sound right at speed. There may be a slight miss when it first starts. Mechanic says there is nothing else he can do except play with props. The prop is not bent, not dinged, and it is the same Fury prop that's always been on the boat. Can't believe that it would be the prop. Any suggestions? Thanks
