Unfortunately I did not winterize my outboards and I was unable to get them started. I lost fuel to the fuel rails so I removed the VSC and cleaned the old gas and replaced the filter but I was unable to get fuel from the pump. Is there a way to get these pumps to move? I was told they are magnetic and even soaking them will not help, can I get some help on this please? Thanks

Thanks Chris
Will the pump power up with the ignition turned on like any fuel injection system? I have my boat at another location and will check power at the pin connector when I get there this weekend. Should that be 12-14V. I have been unable to track down a shop maual to see the sequence of operation.

The pump will power up for a few seconds when you turn the key on, it will power up again when you engage the starter. Get some jumper wires and power the pump manually to see if it works. Get a fuel pressure gauge.

I saw how the power delay came on for the split second and went off. I jumped it and it would not pump at all. Both outboards have the exact same issue so its obvious the pumps need replacement. I tried soaking the one but that didnt help. What is the replacement part number for this pump i cant find it in my schematic. Thanks for the info. When i get the pump to work i have the fuel pressure guage to check with

Both outboards w/the same issue? Batteiries are fully charged? Explain how you jumped the pump.
