2009 Mercury 50 ELPTO

Does a 2009 Mercury 50 ELPTO have a tilt/trim sensor installed at the factory? I want to install a gauge but can not find the sensor. Thanks

That did not come installed with the engine on a 50.

Just bought a new pontoon boat with a 50 hp Mercury ELPTO. The alarm has been going off almost every trip around the lake. Tired of sitting in the middle of the lake untill the alarm goes off. There is a very good stream of water coming from the engine and it does'nt feel any hotter than the lake water. I can touch the cylinder head with my hand (although a bit uncomfortable it is not hot enought to burn me) The lake does have weeds and I am careful to keep the prop and intake clean. Does this motor have a thermostat ?? What is the operating temperature of his motor ? Could I have a bad over temp sensor from the factory?? Any help would be greatly appreciated since I will be on vacation soon and do not want to take the boat back to the dealer (who is in another state) Thanks
