2009 evinrude e tec 150 leaking oil from underneath fly wheel.

Is it possible to replace the upper crankcase seal without taking apart the block and taking out crankshaft? And if so any advice on how. Thank you
 
Pretty sure you can drill into it carefully and then put a small self tapping screw into the flange on the seal and then carefully pry it up making sure no filings get down inside.

That was my initial thought when I saw it on the parts diagram but when you look at it in person it looks way different

Yes your correct. This looks like a real job, brother. I have seen the seals get punky from use of ethanol. I change them a lot on the older motors but I rarely work on anything over 70 to 90 horsepower anymore. There is a really good market for the smaller motors especially here in Northern Minnesota. I keep real busy.
