New to this site and hopefully I find a answer. The other day I started my kicker motor which is a 4 stroke and it seemed to run great than noticed it was leaving a nice smoke trail that came under the water. Thought maybe I just need to break her in again but it kept doing it so I lifted it up and noticed it was leaking dark liquid out of the exhaust port on the lower unit some chunky stuff also. Let it sit for awhile, stopped leaking and tried her again with same result. Any clues? First thought was 4 stroke oil and a bad deal? But not sure.
