I have a Bass tracker with 2008 Mercury 60 hp EFI outboard. So I am new to owning a boat but have spent my life in/around boats. Yesterday I took my boat out and of course forgot my plug, which I of course took on some extra water. Instead of trailering/draining it, I plugged it at the dock and pushed on. I only spent about 20-25 minutes of running it and took some extra to get on plane. No issues with running other than what I would call a little extra strain. Then when backing my boat into my driveway, the lower fin of my outboard hit and slightly drug. Minor scratch to concrete and no obvious damage to fin/lower unit. When I went back to my boat an hour later there was blue oil coming from the lower port of my water intake. I would say about an ounce had leaked and it stopped. Today I went out and no extra oil had leaked. I then flushed my motor by just screwing in the hose to the top of the outboard. At no point did I turn on the motor of hook the muffs to the intake. I did not see any oil get pushed out. I came back and now more oil has leaked. Does this sound more of a seal issue or something more serious?
