Please help!
Recently purchased 2008 Nauticstar 1910 w 115hp Evinrude Etec, I took the boat to the lake and never left the dock. Got it off the trailer trimmed the motor down cranked up right away pull over to dock and tied off to load up motor fell dead started back up ran 3 seconds fell dead again, now before I took her out to the lake I had my hose connected with water running she stated up right away just like she did at the lake but never fells dead, I let it run and idle for 30 min or so while washing the outside motor sound great never died. Contacted local Evinrude dealer/boat repair shop with great reviews, I was given a 2 week set-off but finally got her in the ahop reached out a couple days later and explains that I have a damaged Flywheel and Stator thats causing low voltage which want allow injectors to work properly and explains why the motor keeps falling dead. $3000 part and labor Including water pump job. Finally got it back a couple days ago, when I made home hooked up the hose started it up motor ran great never fell dead, got her out to the lake this weekend identical problem want run with the prop submerged any knowledgeable help would greatly be appreciated, plan on contacting shop 1st thing Monday
