2008 8.1's beep

[2025TRX]

I have a cruisers 420 express. engines running in idle no beep. increase RPM's and beep every 5 seconds or so. The beep comes from the dash.

How’s the engine seem to run? Any indication of something amiss?

Might need to either buy or rent a diagnostic tool if planning to try figuring it out yourself… this is as long as it’s engine related and not another boat related item that has warning horns too such as high water in bilge pump area’s, low water depth gauge of low alarm set in default mode, etc…,
