I'll be winterizing my 4.3 MPIs with Bravo 3 outdrives. Wondering how many drain plugs this thing might have?

it looks like you have the single point drain- which means there are two blue plugs one on thermostat housing to let air in, and one on bottom right at the grey ball shaped distribution housing.

In theory this works great until the small hoses get clogged and part of it doesnt drain. you can google the issue or maybe BT Dr will come along as he has dealt with this stuff.

That aside 100% get yourself the factory manual it outlines all this in great detail so there are no screw ups. it will have drawings of every type of cooling set up that could be there with locations of plugs and any special chit you have to do. that and the drive manual are well worth the money if you plant to do any work yourself. I got mine used off ebay for $35 or $50

Depends on what system yours has. The single point drain system can usually drain the hoses and manifolds but the problem lies in the block drains. You need to pull the quick disconnects on both sides of the block and probe with a nail, etc to insure the block is drained.
Failure to do this can result in a cracked block in the spring
To fill with A/F simply pour it in thru the hoses ,approx 4 gal in each motor. This fills the block, water pump, and manifolds and hoses, then reattach the large hose on the T housing

If it's from 2008, it may still have the blue lastic thumb screws- they contrast with the black paint well. Be very careful when screwing them in- they cross-thread and break very easily. They could have chosen different thread pitch and type of plastic.
