2008 4.3 Merc exhust

My exhust manifolds need replaceing and I wanted to use aluminum but I can only find them for older models. If I replace the risers as well for older model will they line up with the Y pipe? What other problems would I encounter. Thanks for advise, Glenn

if you boat in saltwater forget it use stock. $ years you need mani's ? Risers yes but mani's?

There are kits with 2 man's 2 risers and all the gaskets all in one box.

No salt water involved. Has anyone done this? will the Y pipe line up? I could not find the aluminum kits at the above site. Thanks

Ayuh,... Why do 2008 manifolds need replacing,..??

Those are the newest design, Dry-joint manifolds aren't they,..??

No Idea whether the y-pipes changed or not...
Search up their Part #s to see...

Engine wasn't winterized and manifolds cracked. Yes they are dry fit, I just thought if I have to replace them why not save some weight if last generation manifolds & risers will fit.
