2007 Mercury 50 efi swivel tube assy problem

Advice needed: The two lower rubber bushes on the swivel arm assembly have parted company with the two metal cylinders at the bottom. Presumably they were bonded into them when new. Question is how do I avoid pulling the whole thing apart and replacing the swivel tube assy? Does anyone know of an easy fix for this by somehow adapting or replacing just the rubber bushings? In my view, this design is flawed, as its only whaever bonds the rubber to the metal which is carrying the whole thrust from the prop, so I'm not exactly thrilled about paying a fortune to have the same flawed thing fitted again. p/n 893590T04

Any help or suggestions gratefully recieved.

James
