2007 Merc Optimax 115ELPTO 2 STROKE electrical problem

Father in law accidentally crossed and connected leads from battery charger to battery that was still connected to motor. It sparked and now motor won't start. What areas should I check to locate problem. Fuses are OK.

Yes, starter does spin motor. Will check if motor has spark, after that I am out of searches. Hoping to find specs/schematic with volt/amp/resistance required.

When you power up the engine you should hear the fuel pumps come on for a few seconds. If you hear the pumps come on, Get a spark gap tester and check for spark.

Fuel pump is working. NO SPARK at all 3 cylinders.

Found 3 relays all together on starboard side of motor. Identified the tilt/trim relay which worked and used its connection to check other 2 relays. All 3 relays worked on tilt/trim switch. Didn't find a bad one. On to next possibility.
