I have a 2007 Johnson 9.9. I took it for a test spin the other day and it was bogging and would rev up and down and I noticed some fuel in the water. After inspecting the carb, I noticed a hose barb, about an inch to the right of where the fuel line connects to the carb that has no hose or no cap like the one to the right of it. I squeezed the primer bulb and gas started to come out of this barb. I cannot see any additional hoses that would go there. I am trying to find out if this barb is supposed to hook into a hose or either be capped off. I have attached a pic. If anyone has the same motor I am hoping you could please look and see if that barb is capped or provide insight into what this barb is supposed to do. Thanks for any advice.
