2007 Johnson 15hp clutch rod boot

Hello everyone. I am new to the forum so if a similar thread already exists, I am not familiar with how to locate it. I have a 2007 15hp four-stroke outboard which was partially disassembled and missing a few small parts when I purchased it. I have nearly everything figured and reassembled. At this point, the only issue I am having is exactly where and in what orientation is the clutch rod boot to be installed? I am unable to find anything online and the only diagrams I am seeing have the part separate from the other assemblies where it would be installed.

Also, if anyone knows where the two small cable leads are to be placed around the exhaust/driveshaft housing, that would be very helpful.
