"i just bought a new to me skiff with a df115 on it(less than 15 hrs)it had sat for 8 months and the fuel pump went bad and it wouldn't start,so the dealer replaced the pump and it now starts but won't go above 2800 rpm's.
what could be causing this?it has new fuel,new racor filter,even a new tank..
i do not believe the fuel filter on the motor was replaced but it had good flow when we took it off and blew thru it?
not sure how smooth these idle but it does seem a little rough compared to my yamaha's on the other boat."
