2007 15 Johnson 4 stroke no spark

It ran one weekend took it back to creek the next weekend and nothing pulled spark plug no fire checked kill switch with continuity when I pushed the button it would beep. It has two wires going into one coil that fires to spark plugs. And has a cdi box . Tried testing the wires coming in with at east light didn’t showed no voltage . What now ?

That would be a Suzuki built motor I believe.---Yes both coils / sparkplugs fire at the same time.

I tried to test the power coming in to the coil with a test light and nothing would I go to the cdi box or the stater

Can you take ohm readings on the stator windings ?----Unfortunately the parts are expensive.-----I can install 2 coils , 2 sets of points , 2 condensers and plug wires on older motor magnetos for about $100 .----But parts for these new motors are like gold plated.---Stator is $300 .----- coil is $150 , ----CDI unit is $300.-------Guessing can get expensive.----Might be cheaper to visit a boat shop.

Yes the can get expensive fast . Tell me how to do that ?
