2006 Yamaha 90hp 4 stroke

Need some advice. Engine starts with no problem, able to drive and run it for about 30 minutes. Once I stop and attempt to start it back up it will not start, the engine turns but will not start. After letting it sit for about 30 minutes or so it will start back up, but will only run for a short while, normally just enough time to get it back to my dock. The engine only has 100 hours on it. Any suggestions or assistance would be appreciated. Thank you in advance. John.

Check for the obvious when it doesn't start. Check to see you have sparks. It needs 3 things to start: sparks, fuel and air. Bring an extra spark plug to test for sparks so you don't have to remove the spark plugs from the block. GL
