"Purchased a new boat with a Suzuki DF-175 in 2006. Unit came with the Suzuki Commander gauges. The unit has a fuel flow computer that has never worked from day one. It indicates 0.0L/hr at idle or anything in between up to WOT. I have had the unit back to the dealership 3 times, but still does not work. The fuel flow transducer has been changed out, and on the the third visit the entire RPM gauge has been changed. My biggest issue at this point is, when the gauge was replaced, the unit defaulted back to 0.0 engine hours on the digital display. Prior to the gauge being changed, the engine had 46.3 hours on it according to the original gauge. Does anyone know how to program the current engine hours into the digital display. When the key is first turned on, the RPM needle jumps to about 55 hours, which is likeley what the engine cuurrently has on it after using it so far this summer. I would like to know how to have the digital display indicate the same hours as what the RPM pointer needle indicates upon initial ignition key start. The other issue is, I would really like the fuel meter to read accuratly as this was a feature I paid for, but it has never worked. I have read the manual, but can find no useful information to help me out. Can anyone here give me some ideas or suggestions.
