i took the boat out on the water 3 weeks ago after winter storage.
it runs great, but i got the 4 beep alarm, and there was water in the water /fuel separator.
so i emtyed the VST. It was of cause a lot of bad fuel in there, so i cleaned it all up.
but the engine would not go properly. Rough idle and sometime stop. I cant get over 2500 rpm in gear.
it seems like its only runs on 2 cylinders. But sometimes the rpm will increase to over 2500 and then idle down again. But there is no alarms......What is this???
There are som mist comming out of the air nippel on the fuel rail.
all 3 coils are working properly.
injectors seem ok. Can water destroy the injectors??
when i take of the sparkplug wire on syl 3 there is no drop in rpm, so i will by new sparkplugs and try out tomorrow.
But can water in the fuel do this?? Any ideas plz.
i emptied the fueltank ant put in new gasoline. But until i find the error, i use a small external fuel tank.
i also mixed this with injector cleaner.
i really need some tips here.
