Hey there. I have an engine that will go in forward perfectly but will not go in reverse. The engib3 makes an attempt but just won't engage in reverse. The gears are ticking but wont allow it to full engage. And info on how to fislx this would be amazing. We've had the lower unit off but doesn't seem to have any worn parts.

I have seen the shift cam tallest lobe (which actuates reverse) crack off & cause exactly this issue. That was on a 2 stroke but same concept.
