2006 DF140 Fuel Starving When Hot

2006 DF140, can sit for weeks or months, starts right up, runs smooth and strong. Stop and shut down to fish, crank back up and take off, the motor dies like it’s out of fuel. Sometimes the bulb is soft and empty, sometimes it is tight and full. Either way, pump the bulb a few times, the motor will start up, run a little rough then smooth out, and run fine until the next stop and restart.

I have replaced: fuel pickup at the tank, antisiphon valve, fuel line, water separator (housing and element), bulb, low pressure pump, low pressure filter, high pressure pump, high pressure filter, and all internals in the VST. Still has this issue.

Any ideas????

The above link is for a service manual.

Have you checked the fuel lines under the cowling for kinks, partially clogged, loose clamp? I’m assuming it’s not a sensor since you didn’t mention any codes? Fuel tank vent line free and clear?

Sorry, I’m not much help.
