2006 BF90 mystery hole

Hello,

I have an old (2006) BF90A on a boat that has not been in the water for a year. I’ve been starting the engine up on earmuffs every 2 months or so. Yesterday I started it up and noticed the water coming out of the telltale hole was not coming out as strong as it should be. Shut it down, made sure there was no obstruction in the outlet, and tried again with the same result. On closer inspection while it was running, I noticed water coming out of a round hole on the top of the extension case, just aft of the sensor nipple (see red circled area on attached pic). I don’t think I’ve ever seen that before. I looked at a couple of Honda parts diagrams, and it shows something round at this location but there is no listing for a part. I put my finger in the hole, it’s not threaded. Is this possibly some sort of freeze plug that has finally rusted/blow out (there was some rust debris around the hole)? And if so, is there no specific Honda part, but I just need to find the right size metric freeze plug at an auto parts store? Thanks for any ideas.
