2006 60HP Mercury, Won't start

Everytime I turn the key to start it keeps blowing the 20amp fuse on the motor. I haven't a clue where to start trouble shooting. Any suggestions? Thanx in advance!

look for broken or frayed wires.

There are 2 x 20amp fuses. One protects fuel pump and injectors etc. One protects main power relay etc. First decide which fuse has blown then investigate components and wiring associated.
