2006 43 Mercruiser conitnuous beep

I have a 2006 mercruiser I/O A

I have a 2006 mercruiser I/O Alpha drive. After a day out on the water and doing a 15 to 20 minute 5MPH's heading back to the harbor a constant beep sounds. It's almost like the beep that sounds when turning the inition on but only fainter. What can this be?

The warning beep usually sounds if low oil press, high coolant temp, or low lube oil reservoir. I would check these out next time it beeps. Watch your gauges closely. The lube oil reservoir should be filled up to the FULL mark on the side.

If its EFI the model number wi

If its EFI the model number will have something like MCM 4.3 MPI or similar.
The MPI meaning multiport injection.
What does the manual say about a constant alarm beep?

1 engine oil pressu


either

1 engine oil pressure too low
2 engine temp too hot (i looked it was about 174 degrees)
3 Seawater Pressure too low
Its a 2006 with 70 hrs on it..
