2006 115hp Evenrude etec with slight mis

Hi guys, I just purchased a 2006 115hp Evenrude etec saltwater edition with 76hours on it, looks brand new and haven't been used in the last 9 years, it was winterised before it went into hibernation according to the owner and was flushed after each use. I am not familiar with these motors as I only ever owned 2-stroke Yamaha's and Mercury.

Motor runs great apart from a slight mis - no matter what RPM, it is almost like it could it be a spark plug not firing all the time or maybe perhaps a dirty injector? I'm used to dealing with carbs so this is new to me.

Can I run quicksilver's version of fuel system cleaner through this motor?
Does this motor only run on Evenrude 2stroke for this engine or can I use normal outboard 2-stroke?

Any help will be appreciated.
 
Unfortunately that is not an option, BRP left our part of the country, so don't have support for the motor anywhere close to me. I was hoping this was an easy fix or someone might have dealt with the same issue.

Install new sparkplugs and see.------A new fuel injector has a " code / coefficient " on it.------And it must be matched to the output of the ECU / EMM of the engine.--------These are not easy to work on motors.-------The software / computer might be an option to buy so you can have a shop at home.-----Or find an older motor without the bells and whistles.----Rebuild it and go boating.-----And on some of these the automatic oil injection is programmed for the oil that is to be used.-----If it is set for say XD100 you should not use XD50.-----Hope this helps you decide.
 
Thank you for the reply, I also thought maybe I should buy software for this motor, apparently it is not that expensive.
Hopefully by changing the spark plugs it will resolve the issue.

Do you think it would be ok to run Quicksilver's fuel system cleaner with the next few tanks of gas? Evenrude 2+4 fuel conditioner is not available to buy locally over here.
