2005 Suzuki df 140 hp PTT Questions

I started to unscrew the black knob on the PTT tank today to top it off, as I was doing this it starded to bleed fluid quickly, so I closed it back up. (Thinking that maybee I needed to take presure out of the system first)
After not being able to see a pressure release screw I gave up. Now I can not get it to stop leaking fluid from the plug.
Any sugestions.

Yes, as far as I can. There seems to be a limiter on it, though. I can only go about 4/5 of the way up.

The reason fluid ran out is likely because your limiter stopped the tilt before it was all the way up. There is a tilt limiter that can be adjusted on the tilt tube. If you can tilt it all the way up without having the engine hit anything, adjust the limiter so it will go all the way up. Then top off the fluid.
