2005 Mercury 90ELPT 4S rectifier

Trying to remove rectifier, removed screen and front part of air intake but can’t access second screw to rectifier, tried open end wrench and also bending back edge of intake but can’t get into second screw. Looks like air intake has seam in it like it comes apart, don’t want to break it
